The Municipality of Dodoni, through its social structures and specifically through the Community Center and the “Help at Home” Program, proceeded with another distribution of food and essential items in view of the festive days of Christmas, staying firmly on the side of our most vulnerable fellow citizens.
The distribution of the festive packages, which was done at home, concerned a total of 197 households, of which 105 belong to the category of vulnerable fellow citizens (disabled, long-term unemployed and families with low incomes who live permanently in the four Municipal Units of the Municipality of Dodoni) all 92 are beneficiaries of the TEBA program. It should be noted that for TEBA beneficiaries, there was no other separate distribution during this period.
The municipal authority of the Municipality of Dodoni expresses its sincere thanks to the businesses and organizations that responded this year to the request of the Municipality of Dodoni for help, contributing decisively to the success of this year’s action as well.

In his statement, the Mayor of Dodonis, Mr. Christos Dakaletsis, stated the following: “The social work of our Municipality continues to be a key component of our policy and will continue to be as long as there are fellow citizens who need our help. This project, thanks to the services of our Municipality, lasts 365 days a year, but especially for festive moments like the ones we are going through, we feel a greater obligation to support materially and psychologically our weakest fellow human beings. I have to say once again, a big thank you to the businesses and social organizations that are willingly on our side when we ask for their help. I wish from the bottom of my heart, Happy Birthday to everyone, with health and strength, so that we can overcome any future difficulty together.”
