Warning protocols and orders for the security of private properties with existing buildings located on the territory of the Northern Industrial Zone will be handed over to the owners who have neglected their property, it became clear after a working meeting held today between the director of the Burgas ODMVR, Senior Commissioner Emil Pavlov and the Mayor of Burgas Municipality Dimitar Nikolov.
The occasion for the meeting is the frequent reports of self-settled persons of Roma origin from Sliven who, despite repeated actions to demolish their improvised homes located in the industrial zone in question, are building them again, attracting more of their fellow citizens.
New initiatives are planned to clean up the buildings around which, as a result of the discarded waste, unregulated landfills have formed.
Private owners owning a large percentage of the properties in the Northern Industrial Zone are also expected to be included in the initiatives taken, to whom orders will be sent to secure their property, as well as warning protocols.
It was decided that field inspections would be daily, involving joint teams of police and municipal officials.
Both institutions call on citizens in the event that they notice the organization of new improvised buildings / regardless of whether they are near the Northern Industrial Zone / to report promptly in order to take urgent measures to neutralize the self-imposed persons and take them out of Burgas.
