They ratify that municipalities of the State of Puebla may request credits of up to 3 billion pesos, a resource that will be paid with federal participations
With 35 votes in favor, one against and three abstentions, the deputies of the Puebla Congress ratified that the 217 municipalities can contract with any credit institution, one or more financing of up to 3 billion pesos only during the period of their administration.
Fernando Sánchez Sasia, president of the Budget and Public Credit Commission, explained that the approval of the second opinion is due to the fact that the first one expired, while calling on councilors to use public spending responsibly.
It should be noted that the credits will be paid with federal shares (2021-2024), which guarantees that no debts will be inherited.
Currently, the Puebla city council received a loan of 160 million pesos to carry out basic infrastructure works in the municipality, as an advance from the Municipal Social Infrastructure Fund (FISM), it will also be paid in 24 months.
In another order of ideas, in the session Juan Carlos Moreno Valle Abdala was ratified as secretary of the Public Function of the government of Puebla.
