Municipalities in State of Mexico Request Authorization to Donate Land for Public Works

Through the State Executive, the municipalities of Tlalnepantla, Peace, Cuautitlan Izcalli y Tepetlaoxtoc requested the Legislature of the State of Mexico, through the Permanent Delegation, authorization to disincorporate municipal land and donate it to the state government paras public works in matters of security, science y older adults.

The four initiatives were turned over to commissions for analysis in the following weeksin order to verify if it is legally possible to allocate the properties to another function, at no cost to any of the municipal or state authoritiesbut for large sectors of the population.

The Tlalnepantla city council requested the go-ahead to disincorporate a property of 79 thousand 900 metersin order to donate it to the state government, specifically to the Urban Development Secretariatfor the establishment of the science park that will serve as a safe meeting point for the local population.

Meanwhile, the city council Peace wants to deliver to System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family a land of thousand 429 square metersto build the House of the Day of the Elderlyfor the benefit of this town, where every day there are more people older than 60 years.

The same case is for Tepetlaoxtocwho has a property of one thousand 503 square meters used to build a House of the Day of the Elderlyto serve the population of this town.

The city council of Cuautitlán Izcalli seeks to deliver to the state government, a property of 2 thousand 435 metersspecifically to the Secretary of Security, to build a Police Headquarters in order to contribute to public order and social peace that is sorely needed in this region, where crime is still present.
