Municipalby Argentine striker Matías Rotondi, will visit Cobán Imperial, the current champion of Guatemala, this Sunday on matchday 20 of the Clausura 2023 tournament.
Municipal, one of the two most winning teams in Guatemala with 31 titles, will try to accumulate its sixth consecutive victory and thus stay in the first three places.

Rotondi’s team, who is the current Clausura top scorer with eight goals, comes from defeating Malacateco 2-1 at home last Wednesday.
While their rival, Cobán Imperial, led by the Uruguayan César Méndez, needs to win at home to climb the positions and get closer to the qualifying zone.
Cobán, despite being the current champion, has had an irregular tournament and currently accumulates 19 points in ninth place.
The last time both teams saw each other was on February 25 and Municipal won 1-0 at home.

The leader Xelajú plays on a visit
This Saturday, Xelajú, current leader of the tournament with 37 points, will face Antigua on a visit and if he is defeated he risks losing the first position.
Xelajú, led by Mexican striker Óscar Rai Villa, has only managed two victories in his last five games.
In another game on Saturday, Comunicaciones, led by Uruguayan coach Willy Coito, will receive Mixco and with a victory they could take the lead in the tournament.
Comunicaciones arrives inspired after having defeated Iztapa 5-1 last Wednesday.
Malacateco, owned by Colombian forward Feiver Mercado, receives Xinabajul in a key duel in the fight to access the final phases.
Day 20 will end with Guastatoya-Iztapa and Achuapa-Santa Lucía on Sunday.
