Excellent news was brought to the commune by the seremi of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, Maria Soledad Castro.
–
Castro indicated that “to reach those territories where there is still no universal Internet access and that spectators from the Alto Hospicio Cultural Center, the Municipal Theater of Temuco and the Francisco Contreras Valenzuela de Quirihue Municipal Theater can enjoy -at the same time- a show presented at the Municipal Theater of La Pintana, it will be a reality thanks to the digital cultural network that this year will connect 100 cultural centers across the country by fiber optics ».
–
This initiative is part of the four lines of action of the Digital Cultural Agenda of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.
–
The recently appointed Regional Heritage Manager, José Pedro Urzúa, indicated that “this space has enormous potential and it is necessary to support them so that work in culture continues to grow.”
–
Leonardo Crisóstomo, community manager of Culture, celebrated this important news and announced that in Quirihue, the installation of Fiber Optics at the Francisco Contreras Valenzuela Municipal Theater will begin in the next few days.
–
In the Ñuble Region, only four cultural spaces will have this digital network. The Municipal Theater of Bulnes, the Cultural Center of San Carlos, the Municipal Theater of Chillán and our Francisco Contreras Valenzuela de Quirihue Municipal Theater.
