As the municipality of Davos reports, the small district administrator has set the date of the municipal referendum for December 17, 2023.

The Grand District Administrator has decided that three proposals will be submitted to the Davos voters on December 17, 2023.
The first proposal is the 2024 budget, which is subject to popular vote due to the changed tax rate of 95 instead of 103 percent and should be decided before the start of the 2024 budget year.
The second template is a legal basis for holding virtual meetings (electronic meeting participation via computer).
The third template is the housing strategy, which provides for a loan for new housing and building lease contracts with reduced building lease interest.
Three further submissions are being examined
There will also be another election template, either a temporary ballot for the replacement election to the Small District Administrator or a first ballot for the replacement election to the Large District Administrator, since both candidates for the election to the Small District Administrator come from the Large District Administrator and in an election to become a member of the government, leaving a gap in the large district administrator.
In addition, the Large District Administrator will discuss two matters at its next meeting on November 2, 2023:
the large photovoltaic system on Totalp/Parsenn and the local planning revision for a residential development in Färbi, which will also go to a referendum if passed by the large district administrator.
Six proposals will be put to the vote
This means that the people of Davos can vote on a total of six proposals on December 17, 2023.
The business ready for voting has accumulated because no federal voting dates were held for the second half of 2023 due to the National Council and Council of States elections.
The municipality has therefore now set its own voting date for December 17, 2023.
