“Municipal Police” and “Municipal Security”, as well as other control bodies to enter the “Stolipinovo” district and start imposing real sanctions for the illegal dumping of waste. This was suggested by the municipal councilor from MRF Ali Bayram, a reporter told Plovdiv24.bg.
The unregulated landfills are formed by construction companies, which bypass the regulated sites and dump the waste in Stolipinovo, Bayram said. According to him, the neighborhood is littered with garbage and, although it is in perfect communication with the leadership of OP “Cleanliness”, not much can be done because the resource is not enough.
There are not enough containers in the neighborhood, there are blocks with 10 entrances, for which only two containers are placed. Garbage is already literally on the road and is becoming more and more. Stolipinovo is only 3km from the center, landfills are on fire and there will be a big problem soon, the adviser warned.
Ali Bayram proposes that the two municipal security units, as well as control bodies, enter the neighborhood in order to sanction not only the companies, but also the unscrupulous residents of the area. “We need to act more seriously with the help of the district administration,” the councilor commented.
