The libraries municipal Poet Rafael Esteban Poullet and María Teresa León, located on Larga Street and Menesteo Avenue, respectively, will extend their schedules from Monday, March 15, in accordance with the new measures provided for by passing El Puerto de Santa María to alert level 2. Thus, it has been pointed out by the head of the Department of Culture, Lola fields, which has shown its satisfaction at being able to reopen these dependencies for more hours a day, taking into account the demand they have from the people of Porto.

The new opening hours to the public for the book loan and return service in both libraries will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. For its part, the opening of the study rooms of the two units will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Lola Campos recalled that prevention measures are maintained against coronavirus, so that book donations will not be accepted and users who wish to borrow copies will have to request them at the counter where the library staff will be in charge of providing them. The mayor has also reiterated the capacity reduction of study rooms to ensure the safety of its users.
