Acámbaro, Guanajuato.- The Municipal Baseball League has witnessed the changes and challenges it has faced Acambaro. At one time, there were three leagues: the Municipal, Railway and Foreigneach with around six teams.

Currently, there are many children and young people interested in playing baseball, but since there is no one in charge of the teams to train and guide them, they end up becoming disillusioned and decide to play another sport or stop doing physical activity completely.

The Municipal Baseball League concluded this year’s championship with 20 teams, 10 from the first force and 10 from the second, and is days away from starting the 2024-2025 championship, in which 22 teams will participate, mostly from communities, although there will be two locations: the Veterans of Acambaro and the Rieleros of Acámbaro. Over the years, the league has been a meeting and uniting space for people of all ages and backgrounds.
