Munich victorious after Corona break in DEL – sharks in crisis

After five defeats in a row, the Champions League semi-finalists won 3: 2 (2: 1, 0: 1, 0: 0) after extra time at the German champions and table leaders Eisbären Berlin.

For Munich it was the first game since January 2nd after a corona outbreak. Shortly before the team quarantine, Red Bull signed the Norwegian national goalkeeper Henrik Haukeland for the problem position. The 27-year-old made his debut in Berlin.

On Friday, the Augsburg Panthers also defeated newly promoted Bietigheim 3:1 (0:1, 2:0, 1:0) and the Straubing Tigers Bremerhaven 5:1 (3:0, 1:0, 1:1).
