An alleged kidnapping turned out to be a bachelor party on Tuesday – but only after the police had stopped the alleged kidnapping car at Munich Airport with a large contingent and checked the five occupants.
An 80-year-old had alerted the police at around 2 p.m. that four people wearing balaclavas had dragged a man into a VW bus in the center of Neubiberg and put a sack over his head. The SEK was then alerted, more than a dozen patrol cars roared and a helicopter searched for the bus. He was eventually spotted on the A99 on his way to the airport.
When civil servants stopped the bus at Terminal 2, the matter was quickly cleared up: four men between the ages of 34 and 39 wanted to abduct a groom to Mallorca. Now it is being checked whether the men have to pay the costs for the operation. According to the police, they have at least reached the plane to Mallorca.
