Dacia introduced the Jogger a few days ago and also brought it to the ongoing Munich Motor Show, so journalists had the opportunity to take a closer look. The Jogger stands here in the Extreme edition, which resembles an SUV, but let’s seriously consider it more of a station wagon.
–
Folding the sixth and seventh seats is easy.
However, the station wagon is not just any – it is really big. I start the survey from the luggage compartment, in which there are two seats in the piece on display. They are very easy to fold, they are locked in the upper position and light enough for really everyone to take out. Installing back takes a little care, but with a little practice you can do both in a minute.
–
The space behind the folded seats is huge, exactly as the Czech customer requests, and if I guess correctly, even with the folded seats, a blind could be mounted to cover the trunk. However, the exhibited piece does not have it, I only see the indentations in the plastic lining of the suitcase.
–
The back door is huge.
Through the gigantic back door – notice that they are even taller than the front ones – I sit on the bench in the second row. With a careless movement of the knee, I painfully find that there are tables on the “back” of the front seats and that the legroom in the second row is not exactly generous. However, I can fit in without a problem.
–
The seats in the second row can also be folded down and then folded up to the front backrests, so I can climb into the third row relatively easily. I fold the seat back in front of me and find that I can fit here relatively comfortably with a height of 184 cm. This car can really carry seven adults, and even offers drink holders to the very back.
–
Boarding the third row of seats is easy and they even have a sixth and seventh passenger carpet.
As a bonus, the upholstery of the seats is soft and comfortable and in the second row the seats are light, so they are easy to handle. However, they cannot be removed, at least not without the use of tools.
–
The seven-seater version has tilting windows between the C and D columns as standard, while the five-seater version does not. She also does not have anchor points on the floor of the trunk for the sixth and seventh seats, so if the customer decides after ordering that he wants more seats, he is unlucky.
–
The dashboard is the same as in the sander.
The Extreme equipment is quite similar to the stepway on other models of the brand. In addition to plastic coating, for example, in that the skids on the roof of the jogger can be reassembled across, it is not necessary to buy additional crossbars when one wants to transport something on the roof.
–
The dashboard and controls are otherwise identical to those in the sander, perhaps only with a difference in width. The fabric upholstery of the dashboard and the armrests in the door is pleasant, next to the infotainment display there is a mobile phone holder and a USB port hidden under it.
–
The luggage is really great.
At first glance, the Jogger is a very pleasant car, similar to the new sander. However, how it will drive empty and how loaded it will be, we have to wait for the driving presentation. Orders in Europe will start in November, international and Czech prices are not yet known.
