Terror attack on Israel
On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out a terrorist attack on Israel. Thousands of terrorists stormed Israeli kibbutz villages to slaughter, rape and kidnap Jews. It was immediately clear that Hamas had unleashed a major war that would claim thousands of Palestinian victims.
Authority wanted to prevent protest camp at university
The protest camp was set up near the university in May. The approximately 100 participants wanted to protest against the actions of the Israeli army in Rafah in the Gaza Strip, among other things. At the end of May, there were still around 20, according to the police.
Fearing massive disruption to academic operations, the district administration department had issued a ruling to prevent the camp from being set up in the immediate vicinity of the university. However, the Munich administrative court first overturned the ruling, and then the authority’s appeal to the Bavarian Administrative Court was rejected.
