Munich and Wolfsburg together in the lead

The weekend is over – and now the EHC Red Bull Munich and the Grizzlys Wolfsburg are tied together at the top of the German ice hockey league.

The Adler Mannheim had to admit defeat 2-0 in Iserlohn on Saturday. Munich could even have been the sole leader of the table, but they only won after extra time in Krefeld. The Grizzlys Wolfsburg prevailed 2-1 against the Straubing Tigers, who continue to occupy the last two places in the table with the Schwenninger Wild Wings. The Düsseldorfer EG continues its course. After the 3-1 victory in Berlin on Friday, a success followed with the same result against the Nürnberg Ice Tigers. Newcomer Bietigheim Steeles was defeated by the German champions Eisbären Berlin 2: 4, but after eight games he is above the line that marks the relegation ranks at the end of the season.
