Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman Charles Munger at the Daily Journal’s annual shareholder meeting called “idiots” anyone who disagrees with his position on the need to ban cryptocurrencies. This is reported MarketWatch.

“I’m not proud of my country for allowing this crap. […] It’s just funny that someone buys this. [цифровые активы]”, he said.

Munger also noted the “uselessness” of cryptocurrencies.

“This is not good. It’s crazy. It only hurts. And it’s antisocial,” he added.

Earlier, the vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway urged the US authorities to follow China’s lead and ban digital assets. In his opinion, they cannot be attributed to currencies, goods or securities.

Recall that in 2021, Munger compared Tesla and Bitcoin to “lice and fleas”, and also questioned the ability of digital gold to “become the global means of payment.”

In 2022, Charles Munger called cryptocurrencies “an investment in nothing” and compared them to “venereal disease.”
