Mundenhof, planetarium, indoor pools and Co. – everything that is closed in Freiburg – Freiburg

The new Corona regulation also applies in Freiburg – that brings many restrictions. Here is a brief overview: What is still open in Freiburg and what is not?

The Freiburg city administration again specified on Wednesday which facilities must remain closed until at least November 30th due to the new Corona regulation. Mayor Martin Horn supported the ordinance jointly decided by the federal and state governments. A closed approach is appropriate in the current situation.

“Of course, the measures decided are a major cut in our personal freedom and our accustomed life. Of course, the measures pose great challenges for those affected,” said Horn. Art, culture and sport are indispensable for the city. The proportionality and effectiveness of restrictions must always be critically questioned anew. The financial aid promised by the federal and state governments is urgently needed. The recent almost complete standstill is a catastrophe for the cultural institutions in Freiburg and those involved in culture, writes the “A City for All” group. The parliamentary group is therefore calling for a culture rescue plan that takes effect quickly and specifically and that includes all sectors. A “round table” should also be set up.
