Witnesses recounted the strangeness when the event of alleged ISIS repairs was held at the Syahida Inn UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Building, Ciputat, South Tangerang, which was allegedly followed Munarman. The witness said that during the event, participants covered photos of the President and Vice President with flag symbols.
This was conveyed by the witness when attending the Munarman trial via virtual at the LPSK Office which was broadcast at the East Jakarta District Court, Monday (17/1/2022). At first, the public prosecutor (JPU) asked his capacity because he was present at the event.
“Are you inside or outside the building?” asked the prosecutor.
“It’s only been inside for a while, Mom, no standby, replied the witness.
“What are your duties in that building, sir?” asked the prosecutor.
“Yes, as an operator, he is only carrying out his duties from the leadership,” said the witness.
The prosecutor then asked if the witness saw anything unusual when he entered the Syahida Inn’s room. The witness also agreed with this.
“Then, when you were inside the building, did you see something strange, didn’t you, sir?” said the prosecutor.
“Yes, I saw the oddity,” said the witness.
Prosecutors asked witnesses to reveal the strangeness that occurred in the Syahida Inn room. Witnesses later revealed that at the time, photos of the President and Vice President were covered with flag symbols. Not only that, said the witness, the emblem of the eagle that was plastered was then taken down.
“What did you see or what did you see in the building that you thought was strange?” asked the prosecutor.
“In my opinion, what is strange is that the image of the President and the photo of the Vice President are covered with the flag symbol and the Garuda Bird symbol is lowered,” said the witness.
The prosecutor then reaffirmed whether it was true that the photos of the President and Vice President were closed. The witness then answered correctly.
“So the Garuda Bird symbol is taken down and the photos of the President and Vice President are reversed, right?” asked the prosecutor again.
“That’s right Mother,” replied the witness.
The prosecutor then asked if the witness saw Munarman in the room. The witness said he did not know.
“You saw the defendant Munarman in that room, sir?” asked the prosecutor.
“I don’t know, Mother,” answered the witness.
