jpnn.com, PADANG – A political observer from Andalas University, Padang, Edi Indrizal, thinks that he supports this PDIP to the candidate for the Governor-Deputy Governor of West Sumatra, Mulyadi-Ali Mukhni, will only be the burden of the pair.
The reason is, whatever the local political reality in West Sumatra, there is a kind of resistance to PDIP.
This is different from the meanings of Democrats and PANs, which have indeed supported Mulyadi-Ali from the start.
“Observing the political dynamics at the last minute until the West Sumatra Pilgub registration is closed, the move by the pair Mulyadi-Ali Mukhni to return the PDIP decree is a strategic and appropriate attitude,” he said in Padang, Saturday (5/9).
He said, the resistance of the people of West Sumatra to PDIP is getting stronger when it comes to ideological issues.
“This will be more sensitive if it touches on ideology, as it is clear that it has an effect on the 2019 simultaneous presidential and legislative elections, and the residue is still thick,” he said.
He regretted that PDIP did not seem to understand the root of the problem.
Edi understands that the Mulyadi-Ali Mukhni pair plan to return this support.
