multiple train lines held up at Queens stations due to signaling system problem – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORK – Multiple subway lines were held up at Queens stations in both directions due to a power loss in the signaling system near Forest Hills-71 Av, the MTA announced Monday afternoon on Twitter.

The affected lines are the E, F, M and R and the agency asks users to take other routes:

  • For the service from Manhattan to Queens, people can take trains on lines ‌7‌ and N hacer and make a change at the station. ‌42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal‌ / ‌Times Sq-42 St‌ (‌E, ‌ ‌N, ‌ ‌R, ‌ ‌7‌), ‌en 42 St-Bryant Pk‌ (‌F y‌ ‌7), ‌Court Sq-23 St‌ (‌E‌ and ‌7‌) or ‌Jackson Hts-Roosevelt ‌(R‌ y ‌7‌).
  • For service to ‌Queens Plaza‌, the agency recommends taking the ‌7‌ and ‌N‌ trains to Queensboro Plaza‌.
  • For service to ‌36 St‌, recommend taking the ‌N‌ trains until ‌39 Av-Dutch Kills‌.
  • For service to ‌Steinway St‌ y ‌46 St‌, you can take the trains ‌N‌ to ‌36 Av‌ (transfer to Q66 buses on 35th Ave) or ‌Broadway‌ (transfer to Q104 buses on Broadway).
  • For service to ‌Northern Blvd‌, they can take the ‌N‌ trains until ‌36 Av‌ and transfer to buses Q66 at 35th Ave.
  • For service to ‌65 St‌ can take the train ‌7‌ to ‌69 St‌.
  • For service between Grand Av-Newtown Y Briarwood, you can take the Q60 buses on Queens Blvd.

The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) lets OMNY and MetroCard users use their cards or passes at Penn Station, Woodside, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens and Jamaica.
