Multiple Stabbing Incident in Wakaba-cho, Yokohama City: Two Suspected Serious Injuries

According to a report by the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), the Yokohama City Fire Department stated that after 7:30 pm today (2nd), it received a report from the public that “someone was stabbed” on the road in Wakaba Town, Naka District, Yokohama City.

The report pointed out that when the police arrived at the scene, they found one person lying on the road and two others injured. All three were sent to the hospital.

In addition, there was intelligence that three people were stabbed with knives. After checking with nearby stores, the police found several people who may know what happened. They are currently asking about the incident and investigating the details at the police station.

According to the “Asahi Shimbun” report, a man who witnessed it nearby said, “I saw two men fighting on the road. The man in orange was pushed to the ground because I heard the voices of other men, so I I went to the nearby police station to report the incident. When I came back, one person was already bleeding and lying on the ground.”

So far, at least three men have been injured and sent to hospital, two of whom are suspected of serious injuries. “TBS” reported that the three men were in their 40s and 50s, and the age of one of them was unknown.
