One subject faces charges of fatally shooting another individual and injuring a woman this weekend in Brooklyn.
The incident occurred shortly before midnight Saturday, on Pennsylvania Avenue, near Riverdale Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old girl, both with gunshot wounds to the chest.
The victims were taken to hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman is in a stable state.
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the shooting. According to the uniformed officer, the event was due to some kind of dispute.
A pistol has also been recovered from the scene.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and three others injured in another shooting in the same Brooklyn neighborhood.
It happened on Georgia Avenue, around Wortman and Sheffield Avenues, in East New York.
According to the authorities: two 36-year-olds were found with gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
A 51-year-old and a 32-year-old were also shot multiple times, and are in critical condition.
And finally, another 37-year-old man was shot in the shoulder, was also taken to hospital and is expected to recover.
