The fire broke out following a collision between two light vehicles on the ring road on Thursday afternoon. The two drivers got out of their respective cars on their own, requiring no support. But one of the cars caught fire, requiring the intervention of firefighters. A disaster that blocked traffic under the California bridge, in the direction of Fort-de-France – Lamentin, and caused traffic jams in the area.
5 injured, two seriously

Earlier in the day, around 11 a.m., a biker hit a car on the RN6 at François. The 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a leg and transported to the CHUM by the Samu.
This morning at 8:30 a.m., on the RN1 in Sainte-Marie, two cars collided on the Union road. The accident left four injured; a 35-year-old man slightly injured and taken care of at the Trinité hospital center, a 17-day-old baby and his 20-year-old mother, taken care of at the MFME and a 41-year-old woman, seriously injured, who was transported to CHUM.
