More than ten people were injured after a bus drove into Vahl school on Tøyen in Oslo. Two are considered critically injured.
Two are described as critically injured and one as seriously injured after a bus drove into Vahl school on Tøyen in Oslo.
Two of the injured have been sent to Ullevaal hospital, while one has been sent to Ahus.
In total, there are more than ten injured people, writes the Oslo police district X/Twitter.
Police incident leader Svend Bjelland says it appears that all the injured were on the bus.
One of the critically injured had to be freed from the bus. It is uncertain whether the injured were all on board the bus, or whether people have been hit by the bus.
People were trapped after the accident, but at 22.17 the Oslo 110 central informed that they had been freed. The 110 central reported the accident and that people were trapped at 10.06 pm.
There is currently no information to suggest that this is anything other than an accident, and the Norwegian Accident Investigation Board and the Accident Analysis Group of the Norwegian Road Administration have been notified, the police say.
The streets in the area around the accident site are closed. The Oslo police ask motorists to drive on other roads so that the emergency services can arrive and the ambulances can leave the scene.
Vahl School is a primary school on Tøyen in Oslo and is located across the street from the Botanical Gardens.
