Several individuals sustained injuries following a destructive three-car collision that occurred in Hooksett, New Hampshire, on a recent Saturday night.

Crash Details

The Hooksett Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 7:23 p.m. The crash transpired at the intersection of Mammoth Road and Castle Drive.

Reports indicate that a 2023 GMC pickup truck was involved in a sideswipe collision with a Honda sedan. Subsequently, the GMC truck collided head-on with a Toyota SUV.

Extent of Injuries

A comprehensive investigation into the incident revealed that the Honda sedan’s occupants, both the driver and the passenger, fortunately remained unharmed. However, both the driver and the passenger in the Toyota SUV sustained injuries necessitating their transport to a nearby hospital. Authorities have declared these injuries to be non life-threatening.

Arrest and Charges

The driver of the GMC SUV, identified as 45-year-old Brian O’Connor, from Hooksett, was also injured in the collision. He was subsequently taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Authorities have charged O’Connor with DUI (Driving Under the Influence) and Reckless Operation in relation to the incident. O’Connor is set to appear in Circuit Hooksett District Court on May 16th to face these charges.

Traffic Impact

As the authorities, emergency crews, and medical personnel responded to the collision, the section of Mammoth Road stretching from Golden Gate Drive to Hale Avenue was closed for approximately two hours. However, the road has since been reopened, and traffic is flowing normally.
