The police are present in the Strøget passage in Torggata in central Oslo on Saturday evening, after three people have injuries that are compatible with the use of a “sharp object”.
Later, the police adjusted the number of injured to five, including the suspected perpetrator.
– A machete must have been used during the incident. We have this under control, informs the Oslo police district.
One person must be arrested, and the police must have control of the machete in question.

Guards attacked
Furthermore, they report that security guards must have intervened and suffered injuries to the upper body, after suspects allegedly attacked several security guards at a night club.
– They are looked after by health. We have arrested a person who we believe is involved in the incident, the police write on Twitter.
A security guard is said to be seriously injured and taken to hospital, the police report.
– Not affiliated with pride
According to the police’s information, there must be a relationship between the one victim and the suspect.
With the information the police have as of now, there should be no indications that it is connected to pride, they inform the press.
