There was another explosion in Rotterdam in the night from Monday to Tuesday. This time, a house on 1e Schansstraat in the Delfshaven district was the target. The suspect then fled, according to police.
The explosion happened around 3:30 am. No one was injured, but photos show that the building was damaged.
Last weekend there were also two explosions in Rotterdam. One of them was in Spangen, a neighborhood that is also in Delfshaven.
The police have taken extra measures in the affected streets in response to the explosions. “In the meantime, the detectives are doing everything they can to investigate the cases as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.”
Good hope to keep clients chasing explosions
The Rotterdam region has been dealing with a large number of explosions in recent months. This year there were already more than fifty and that is more than in the whole of last year.
The police have already arrested several people associated with one or more explosions. It often concerns young boys who are approached by intermediaries to commit an attack, the police told NU.nl earlier this month. The police then announced that they had good hopes that they would also be able to handcuff the clients behind the attacks.
The explosions are linked to quarrels in the drug environment.
