According to the official measurement of the China Seismic Network: On August 29, at 3:55, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 occurred in Balihai, Indonesia (6.80 degrees south latitude, 116.60 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 520 kilometers; A magnitude 5.9 earthquake occurred in Balihai (7.15 degrees south latitude, 117.20 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 470 kilometers.

According to Reuters, citing the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), on the 29th local time, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.0 occurred in the northern waters of Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. The epicenter was 203 kilometers north of Mataram, Indonesia, at a depth of 516 kilometers. The earthquake did not trigger a tsunami.

According to reports, affected by the earthquake, people fled from the building. Guests ran out of their rooms seconds after the quake was felt, a manager at a hotel in Bali told Reuters. But they later returned and the hotel was unharmed.

Singapore’s “Lianhe Zaobao” reported that there are no reports of property damage or casualties. Some people have released videos on social media platforms showing the shaking of the earthquake.
