The operation of Moscow’s second largest airport has also been temporarily suspended and all incoming flights are currently being diverted. As informed by the responsible authorities, Domodedovo and Vnukova airports around 10 after Latvian time have already resumed their work in full force.

It is reported that the Domodedovo airport was attacked by drones last night.

In the videos shared on social networks, explosions can be heard and the airport premises are seen filling with smoke, according to information published on social networks.

Meanwhile, in the Russian border town of Belgorod, a 16-year-old girl was killed and her father was injured in the strikes, the governor of the region said.

A polling station in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine’s Zaporozhye region also caught fire after a drone strike on Sunday, but there were no casualties in the attack, Moscow-appointed officials said.

On the night of Sunday, as a result of an attack by flying robots, a fire broke out in one of the oil refineries in Slavyansk near Kuban, which is located in the Krasnodar region in the south-west of Russia.

Eyewitnesses say that at least five drones attacked the factory and some of them hit their targets.

The incident was later confirmed by Kremlin-controlled propaganda mouthpieces, which reported that one person had died, allegedly of a heart attack.

There were no casualties in the fire.
