Dublin commuters faced heavy delays on Monday morning as several collisions and cancellations of bus services disrupted traffic on major routes including M50, N7 and N4. The collision on M50 led to heavy delays northbound, while another collision at Ballymun, coupled with delays on Luas Red Line, added to rush hour disruption. Several bus services were cancelled due to a number of drivers calling in sick, resulting in overcrowded buses and long wait times for passengers. The Dublin Traffic Management Centre urged motorists to drive with extra care and warned of delays across the city as the busy morning rush hour took hold.
