Multiple Children Injured After Inflatable Slide Accident on Long Island – NBC New York

NEW YORK – Multiple children were injured after an inflatable slide tipped over at a Suffolk County park Tuesday morning, according to police.

Suffolk County Police say officers responded to the scene at Wyandanch Park on Mount Avenue following reports of the incident around 9:45 a.m.

The children were at the park as part of a camp for elementary students in the Wyandanch school district, police said.

Our helicopter was over the scene where there was a heavy police presence. Rescuers were seen tending to some of the injured, while tennis courts had several deflated devices.
