Four people are in hospital after an accident between three cars at the Shumen exit, in the area of the fifth kilometer.
In one of the cars the director of the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of the Interior traveled Senior Commissioner Georgi Gendov and two more executives of the police in the regional city, its press center reported.
The incident happened shortly before 10:00. One car was moving from the seventh kilometer towards Varna. On the main road driver turned leftin the direction of Shumen, then hit the driver in the right-of-way. After the impact, he was hit and stopped at the “Stop” sign at the Shumen exit another car.

To provide assistance to the victims three emergency teams have been dispatched. They are in the Shumen hospital four people taken away.
In the other car in which they were traveling the director of the ODMVR – Shumen Senior Commissioner Georgi Gendovthe deputy director Commissioner Plamen Todorov and Commissioner Veselin Zahariev, there were no injuries.
Until the arrival of the medics, the leading police officers are provided psychological support to the victims. They were taken for an examination to the Shumen hospital, where it was found that they were not seriously injured and have no physical injuries.
The leaders of all three cars are legal. They are tested for alcohol and drugs, their samples are negative, the spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Asya Yordanova, also announced.
The incident caused only material damage, five people were slightly injured, and the roadway was cleared, Yordanova added.
