WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messenger, is introducing a new feature that will make life much easier for many: contact synchronization across multiple accounts.
This will allow you to manage your contacts even better in the future, whether for private or professional purposes.
What does that mean exactly?
Do you have multiple WhatsApp accounts, for example for work and private life? Until now, you had to manage your contacts on each account individually. That’s over now! With the new feature, you can:
- Merge contacts: Your phone contacts are automatically synchronized with all your WhatsApp accounts
- Flexible selection: You decide which contacts should be visible on which account
- Easy administration: Your contacts remain clear, even if you use multiple accounts
How does it work?
You can find the function in the WhatsApp settings under “Privacy”. There you can easily select which contacts should be synchronized with which account.
Contact syncing is currently being tested in WhatsApp Beta for Android. If you’re interested in the latest features, you can sign up for the beta program and try the feature out now.
