A concept trailer for the canceled Call of Duty version of Doom 4 has recently surfaced online. And today another short video has surfaced, this time showing some of the multiplayer action from it.

id Software has canceled this version of Doom 4. Like the previous trailer, this multiplayer video feels more like RAGE than Doom. Not only that, the color palette is terrible and far from what we got in 2016 with Doom. However, it’s really cool to see gameplay footage from canceled games.

The first leak of this canceled Doom 4 game was back in 2015. Then there were a lot of screenshots from the behind-the-scenes trailer. Then, in 2020, new footage from this old version of Doom 4 came out (this video is no longer available). And then, in 2022, we got three new screenshots from it

Doom 4 was originally set to take place on Earth and featured gameplay mechanics similar to those of the Call of Duty games. However, during development, id Software felt that this was the wrong direction and decided to cancel it.
