In Children’s Month, the Multimedia Time carries out a solidarity collection of toys for those boys and girls in vulnerable situations. This is the last week to participate in the second edition of this initiative and until Friday, August 25, the residents of Río Gallegos will be able to come to Comodoro 175 to deliver their donations.
In this context, solidarity neighbor David Catrihuala spoke with The mediatora program that is broadcast by Weather FM 97.5, and maintained: “Last year we collected 675 toys. This year there is time until Friday to leave their toys at Comodoro Rivadavia 175”.
“We are doing very well, I highlight the work that Multimedio does to condition toys or raise the money to buy new ones, more taking into account the context. We have 44.7% poverty in Río Gallegos, which marks the difficulty of many families, ”he said.
Following this line, he expressed: “A toy has more to do with an act of empathy, with the alien reality of the child and his family, who suffer despair in these times. This is very important and we invite anyone who wants to join in the last days”.
“Every year it improves, we must highlight corporate responsibility. Like this of putting funds to help and accompany the social organizations that are in the collection every day”, concluded David Catrihuala.
