Multimedia Teacher Wins Two International Awards in Marketing Communications

A multimedia teacher at Cégep de Matane for 16 years, Tommy Ferlatte has just won two international awards in marketing communications.

He obtained them during the 29th edition of the international SCA – Summit Creative Awards.

First in the “best marketing product/service” category for its work with Australian company 2XU. The mandate was to create photo and video content, accompanied by stories across the renowned sports brand’s social networks.

And second prize in the “Best Website & Interactive Media” category for his agency’s site.

A gift of life

“To lift one of their trophies is a huge privilege,” he said. In the unforgiving arena of marketing communications, creative minds engage in a relentless quest to unearth the ultimate idea capable of setting the web ablaze.

The icing on the cake

2023 marks a memorable milestone for the man who will celebrate his three decades of experience in multimedia in November.

“This double victory at the Summit Creative Awards,” he emphasizes, “is the icing on the cake of an already exceptional year. » Last March, after his 1,000th achievement, he was honored with the title of Innovator of the Year at the Summit Emerging Media Awards, testifying to his creativity.

Tommy Ferlatte does not close the door to new challenges for 2024: “It is also a period conducive to reflection, where I question my future aspirations. What are the challenges or areas that spark real passion in me, and more importantly, who would I like to share these experiences with? »
