Multi-faceted cooperation, including support activities for North Korean defectors and academic seminars on unification issues
[인더스트리뉴스 최종윤 기자] The Korea Social Contribution Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-bae) signed a business agreement with the Inter-Korean Cultural Exchange Association (Chairman Kim Gu-hoe) on the 4th to support residential environments.

The ‘Residential Stability Improvement Support Project’, which is carried out as a living alone support project (a living support project vulnerable to independence), includes living furniture to improve a stable living space for independent youth, youth outside the home, single mother families, multicultural families, and people of national merit. This is a project that supports.
The two organizations also work with Hanssem, a furniture specialist group, to support North Korean defectors, conduct academic seminars on unification issues, and provide housing stability improvement support projects for families of exemplary soldiers. It is expected that a contribution to ESG activities and improvement of social value will be created.
Separately from this, the Korea Social Contribution Foundation also supports the hair donation movement to support pediatric cancer patients and the movement to build small libraries around the world.
Meanwhile, the Korea Social Contribution Foundation will create a social atmosphere for pride and respect for social contributors through government awards in December, promote the volunteer spirit of ‘realizing a happy society through people-centered small change’, and discover excellent social contributors and leaders. The 18th Korea Social Contribution Awards will be held, and selection is planned through the first round of document submission, second on-site review, and third general review of applications from institutions, organizations, companies, or individuals.
