Multi-channel marketer IP Austria will be part of the RTL AdAlliance from mid-2025

HAMBURG/VIENNA. From July 2025, the multi-channel marketer IP Österreich will be part of RTL AdAlliance, the RTL Group‘s international advertising marketer. IP Austria will merge its portfolio with RTL AdAlliance, giving advertisers access to the advertising inventory of well-known European media brands and the international marketer’s premium content. From mid-2025, IP Austria will appear under the uniform brand image of RTL.

Integration and expansion
All IP Austria employees will be integrated into the RTL AdAlliance. The management team together with Elisabeth Frank (Director of Multi-Channel Sales), Claudia Ostermann-Schabata (Director of Marketing and Business Development) and Marion Hammerl (Director of Finance and HR) will continue to work with the management. The management is being extended: Oliver Vesper, Chief Digital Officer and Deputy CEO of RTL AdAlliance, will become co-director of IP Austria together with Walter Zinggl from 1 January 2025.

In 2025, we will launch a digital campaign that will provide full access to RTL AdAlliance’s entire international video portfolio, including satellite TV and additional access. IP Austria was founded in 1995 as a joint venture between RTL and Krone Media Aktiv, each with a 50 percent stake. IP Austria has a hybrid portfolio. The marketing mandate includes linear and digital TV environments, address TV / connected TV, digital out-of-home, influencer marketing and digital portfolio, including all digital products of RTL Deutschland . In addition to R9 and krone.tv, Canal + and the sports channels Sky Sport Austria and Sport1, IP Austria exclusively markets the TV channels RTL Deutschland, RTL, Vox, Super RTL, Nitro, NTV, RTL Up, RTL Zwei and the streaming service. RTL+.
