The security services in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate arrested Muhammad Qamis and his mother from their home, in the village of Sanhur al-Madina, for interrogation after accusing them of lying and not having cancer, and using social media to profit from her.
Before his arrest, Muhammad Qamis, a resident of the village of Sanhur al-Madina, affiliated to the Desouk Center in Kafr al-Sheikh Governorate, responded in a video on his personal page on the social networking site “Facebook”, in which he showed his mother next to him – to his critics who accused him of claiming illness for the sake of fame, confirming that he was suffering from the disease. For 4 years, the first two years the diagnosis was wrong, after which he was tested positive, and evidence of x-rays and analyzes was shown.
He added that there are those who claimed his death, and that he is not obliged to prove to anyone that he is ill, as he does not want money from anyone or help, and whoever wants to believe him should believe him, and whoever refuses does not believe him, stressing that there are many who support him and some of them offered him money but refused it.
Nawal Othman, the mother of Muhammad Qamisat, confirmed that there are those who contacted her that Muhammad had passed away, adding that she prayed for everyone who lies about her son to be like him and his mother is like her, and that her son has been suffering for 4 years, and for two years the diagnosis was wrong, and it remained two years He is being treated for cancer, and she did not want anyone to know about his disease with cancer.
