Dubai : Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khaja becomes UAE’s first ambassador to Israel UAE The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The UAE Embassy is in Tel Aviv. UAE Al-Khaja is the current Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi opened in January.
