At dawn on Saturday, Israeli aircraft completely destroyed an eight-story residential building with five missiles on Al-Mamoun Street in the Basta Al-Fawqa district, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, according to the National News Agency of Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement that the Israeli attack on the Basta al-Fawqa area resulted in the death of 15 people and wounded 63 others.

A Lebanese security source said that a “senior leader” in Hezbollah was targeted in the Israeli attack, and Amin Sherri, a member of the Lebanese Parliament for Hezbollah, said, “The building that the Israeli army attacked at dawn in an area Basta in Beirut is a residential building par excellence. ”, accusing Israel of “wanting Hezbollah and Amal to move against them.”

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Saturday that the Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 3,670 people and injured 15,413 since October 2023.
