Vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin responding to a report about him to Bawaslu by the Lingkar Nusantara Advocate (Lisan) regarding allegations of campaign elements during the quiet period of the 2024 elections. Cak Imin said the report was a form of panic.
“Ha ha, that (report) is just a sign of panic. I didn’t comment anything, I was as usual. The film has educated all of us, including political parties, to really improve ourselves,” said Cak Imin at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (13/2/2024).
As is known, the Lingkar Nusantara Advocate (Lisan) reported alleged election violations committed by Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin and the 10th and 12th Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) to Bawaslu. The report is related to allegations of campaign elements during the quiet period for the 2024 elections.
“First, regarding the alleged election violations which we suspect were committed by one of the candidate pairs, Mr. Muhaimin Iskandar. We know that on Mr. Cak Imin’s X or Twitter account, he uploaded a trailer for the film Dirty Vote, in which we also suspect there are many “The content is tendentious, namely cornering one of the candidate pairs. Even though there are also other candidate pairs in it, it is more specific to candidate pair 02,” said the representative of the Oral Advocate, Ahmad Fatoni, at the Bawaslu office, Jakarta, Tuesday (13/2 /2024).
“So, Mr. Jusuf Kalla, if we read in one of the online media, he said that in the film Dirty Vote, only 25% was conveyed. So it seems as if he wanted to build a narrative that fraud was more than 25%. And this was also done during the period calm down,” he continued.
