Vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) said the struggle to bring change to society is extraordinary. He said candidate pair number 1 had little funds for the 2024 elections.
This was conveyed by Cak Imin during a discussion with orchid farmers in Dadaprejo Village, Batu City, East Java. Cak Imin said that no conglomerate had donated to his party.
“Thank you, God willing, it is indeed extraordinary (the struggle), neither of us contributed, none of the conglomerates contributed so we lacked logistics; t-shirts, billboards, the shortage,” said Cak Imin in his speech, Sunday (31/12/2023).
Cak Imin said that even though the conglomerate was not contributing, his party was not worried. He feels grateful because if he leads Indonesia in the future, he will not be dictated to by funders in return for a favor.
“But I’m not worried that people will move on their own. Luckily we are not being donated by conglomerates so we won’t be part of what the future government dictates, amen. Allahumma amen,” he said.
He said change was a struggle carried out together with the community. This change is a concept that is desired by many parties.
“Change is our own work, change is our own idea, change is our own struggle along with all components of society who dream of realizing change in Indonesia for the better in the future, amen,” said the PKB Chairman.
He said he had absorbed aspirations from several regions in Indonesia, including Sumatra and Java. Cak Imin said that from the visit he made, his party assessed that the wave of change was no longer unstoppable.
“I want to report a little, I have explored all of Sumatra, all of Java, all of Kalimantan, Sulawesi, only Papua at the end. God willing, it cannot be stopped. This change concerns the dignity of the nation, the fate and life of the people, fate will change for the better, the people the smallest,” he concluded.
