The excellent Jaafari Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, criticized the satirical program presented by the “Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation – LBCI”, considering that it “affected the Shiite community with all its weight and sanctities in a very ridiculous way, in the midst of a country burning with firewood, media, collapse, sectarian militancy, black dollars and chaos.”
In a statement, Mufti Qabalan advised the Lebanese media, especially the “LBCI” channel, stressing that “if it were not for the Shiites of Imam Hussein (pbuh), Lebanon would not have been liberated, and ISIS would have been able to devour the flesh of the Lebanese until the birds of the sky are satisfied with it.”
He explained that “the country is on the brink of a national catastrophe, and what is required is to protect coexistence, not to stab it to the core, and it is very dangerous that the absurd program is exposed to a personality of the size of humanity, I mean Imam Hussein (PBUH).”
Mufti Qablan addressed the management of the LBCI channel by saying: “The country is under fire, and I hope that the administration will not be the oil of this fire,” directing his salutations to “every church, media pen, and national, human rights and moral activist who raises his voice to say, neutralize the media from the fire.”
