Jakarta –
Was targeted Arsenal, Mykhailo Mudryk in the end they joined Chelsea. Seeing the current position of the two teams in the Premier League, it is believed that Mudryk will regret it.
Mudryk was rumored to be Arsenal’s top target in the January transfer market. The 22-year-old player also publicly gave a positive code several times.
However, three of Arsenal’s bids for Mudryk were rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk. Mudryk ended up going to Chelsea with a transfer value of £88 million.
William Gallas, who has strengthened Arsenal and Chelsea, thinks Mudryk chose the wrong club. He believes Mudryk will regret it at the end of the season.
“Mudryk may have made a mistake, he has a chance to join Arsenal,” Gallas said as reported by the Evening Standard.
“The way Arsenal play, he will fit into that squad and at the end of the season, he might regret it. What if Chelsea don’t qualify for the Champions League?”
Chelsea is currently teetering and is in ninth place in the Premier League standings with a difference of 10 points from the Champions League zone. Meanwhile, Arsenal are comfortable at the top of the standings with a five-point advantage over Manchester City.
“Arsenal might become champions. At the end of the season, maybe he will regret it. That could be an opportunity for him to play well and in the Champions League next season,” continued Gallas.
“However, Arsenal have to move on, and now they will have the opportunity to sign new players so they can play with the players they want,” he said.
