Arsenal bent Chelsea on the hunt Mykhaylo Mudryk. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta now choosing to focus on the squad he has only.
Mudryk is said to be Arsenal’s main target in the January transfer window. The London cannon, which needed additional ammunition on the front lines, had been chasing it for months.
However, several times Arsenal’s offer was rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk. In the end, Mudryk actually anchored to another part of London by joining Chelsea.

The Blues reportedly redeemed the 22-year-old winger for 100 million euros. Chelsea tie Mudryk with a contract duration of 8.5 years.
When asked about Mudryk’s transfer to Chelsea, Arteta was not too bothered. If indeed the effort to spend does not produce results, Arsenal will focus on the existing squad.
“I’m very proud to have the players we have now,” Arteta told Sky Sports after the match against Tottenham.
“We always want to improve the squad. The club is the first to improve the players we have.”
“We have to be disciplined and consistent with the targets we have. We can make the players better, let’s just focus on that,” said Arteta.
Arsenal just beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the Premier League. The victory made Arsenal more comfortable at the top Premier League standingswith an eight-point advantage over Manchester City.
