The so-called southern round of Logroño will be the first section in La Rioja of the future A-68 highway. The first segment of the AP-68 motorway that will be toll-free, once the works that are currently being undertaken are completed, with a budget of about 112 million euros. The forecast is that the works will be finished by 2023.
It will, therefore, be three years before the complete release of the AP-68, as announced by the Minister of Transport and Mobility, José Luis Ábalos, on his recent visit to La Rioja.
