Manchester United kick Barcelona to qualify for the round of 16 Europa League. From other matches, two Italian representatives, Juventus and AS Roma, also advanced.
The duel between MU vs Barcelona in the second leg of the Europa League knockout phase playoff was held at Old Trafford, Friday (24/2/2023) early morning WIB. Coming from behind earlier, the Red Devils finally won 2-1.
This victory led MU to qualify for the round of 16. Erik ten Hag’s troops won 4-3 on aggregate over Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Juventus recorded a landslide victory 3-0 away to Nantes headquarters at the Stade de la Beaujoire, Friday (24/2/2023) early morning WIB. Angel Di Maria became the star of the Bianconeri’s victory thanks to the hat-trick he carved.
The victory led Juventus to qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League with an aggregate advantage of 4-1. They were previously held to a 1-1 draw by Nantes at home.
From other matches AS Roma turned things around against RB Salzburg. Losing 0-1 in the first leg, Jose Mourinho’s men won 2-0 in the second leg at the Olimpico Stadium, Friday (24/2/2023) early morning WIB.
Meanwhile, Ajax must admit the superiority of the Bundesliga representative, Union Berlin. Ajax failed to reach the last 16 of the Europa League after losing 1-3.
