An employee of MTA was fatally hit by a train while working on the subway tracks Midtown early on Wednesday, according to authorities.
Hillary Joseph57, was working as a signalman for a trash-clearing crew on the track bed just south of the 34th Street-Herald Square Central Station around 12:20 a.m. when he was struck by a train D that was heading north, according to the police and the MTA.
