Inside a bus on the MX19 line … and in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx, a 55-year-old man was stabbed by another man and woman after an argument, according to police.

Last Thursday, a 27-year-old man killed a 38-year-old man with multiple stab wounds as he got off a train on 176th Street in Morris Heights. The latter has already been arrested and reported.
Four knife attacks in the “Metro” were also reported last Thursday and eight people have lost their lives in violent acts so far this year.
Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell has ordered more subway patrols, but this latest incident also questions bus safety.
The 55-year-old deceased man has been identified as Lamont Barkley, a Bronx resident. The police want to find the responsible couple and ask for help by calling 1-888-57-TRACK in confidence.
